SECTION 2 - INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Our legal basis for collecting and processing your personal information is based on consent.

We collect your personal information in the following ways:

AUTOMATIC INFORMATION

You can visit our websites without giving any personal information. Every time you access our website, usage data is transmitted through your Internet browser and stored in log data (server log files). These stored data include, for example, the name of the page accessed, the date and time of the retrieval, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider. These data are used solely to ensure trouble-free operation of our website and to improve our offer. An assignment of this data to a specific person is not possible.

COLLECTION AND PROCESSING USING THE CONTACT FORM

When using the contact form, we collect your personal data (name, e-mail address, message text) only in the scope provided by you. The data processing serves the purpose of establishing contact. By submitting your message, you consent to the processing of the transmitted data. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) of the GDPR with your consent.

You may revoke your consent at any time by notifying us without affecting the legality of the processing based on the consent to revocation. We only use your e-mail address to process your request. Your data will then be deleted unless you have consented to the further processing and use.

COLLECTION, PROCESSING, AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA FOR ORDERS

When ordering, we collect and use your personal data only to the extent necessary to fulfill and process your order and to process your requests. The provision of the data is required for the conclusion of the contract. Non-provisioning means that no contract can be concluded. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) of the GDPR and is required to fulfill a contract with you. We do not transfer your data to third parties without your express consent. Excluded from this are only our service partners, which we need to process the contractual relationship or service providers, e.g. payment service providers, order processing service providers, web hosting providers, IT service providers. In all cases, we strictly adhere to the legal requirements. The amount of data transmission is limited to a minimum.

USING THE E-MAIL ADDRESS FOR SENDING NEWSLETTERS

Regardless of the contract, we use your e-mail address solely for our own advertising purposes to send you newsletters, if you have expressly consented to this. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) of the GDPR with your consent. You may revoke your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent until your revocation. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the corresponding link in the newsletter or by notifying us. Your e-mail address will then be removed from the mailing list.

Your data will be passed on to a service provider for e-mail marketing as part of order processing. A transfer to other third parties does not take place.

USE OF PAYPAL

All PayPal transactions are subject to the PayPal Privacy Policy.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

SECTION 4 - DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 5 - SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 6 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

USE OF GOOGLE ANALYTICS

  1. a) Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there (see § 5 Order data processing).

USE OF GOOGLE ADWORDS

  1. a) Our website might use Google Adwords, an online advertising program from Google, in which we use so-called conversion tracking provided by a tracking pixel. When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie will be placed on your computer or device. The information collected through the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking.
  2. b) This conversion tracking cookie loses its validity after 30 days, contains no personal data and is therefore not used for personal identification. However, the collected data can be linked to your account if you’re signed in to your Google Account. These data are then treated as personal information.

USE OF REMARKETING OR "LIKE AUDIENCES" FEATURE OF GOOGLE

  1. a) We might use Google’s remarketing or “Like Audiences” feature on the website, which allows us to target advertisers to the website by showing personalized and interest-based ads when other websites are on the Google Display Network. In order to carry out the analysis of the website usage, which forms the basis for the creation of interest-based advertisements, Google uses cookies by storing a small file with a sequence of numbers in the browsers of the visitors to the website. We do not store your personal information about visitors to the website, however, the collected data may be linked to your account when you log in to your Google Account treated personal information.

CONSENT TO THE CONVERSION MEASUREMENT WITH THE TRACKING PIXELS OF FACEBOOK AND GOOGLE

  1. a) With your consent, which you have given “I agree with the use of the tracking pixels”, we set in our website the “visitor action pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) and the Adwords Tracking Pixel from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
  2. b) To track the behavior of users after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook or Google ad. This method is used to evaluate the effectiveness of the advertisements for statistical and market research purposes and may help to optimize future advertising efforts.
  3. c) The data collected are anonymous to us, so do not give us any conclusions about the identity of the users. If you visit a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser connects directly to the servers of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Google. The content of the plugin is transmitted by the respective provider directly to your browser and integrated into the page.

By integrating the apps, the providers receive the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a profile or are currently not logged in. SECTION 10 - DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA FOR ORDER PROCESSING

  1. a) The personal data collected by us will be passed on as part of the contract, as far as necessary. We pass on your data as part of the processing of payments to the commissioned credit institution as well as your address to the company commissioned with the delivery.
  2. b) If you pay via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or – if offered – “purchase on account” via PayPal, we will transfer your payment data to Paypal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter referred to as “PayPal”). PayPal reserves rights itself for the payment methods credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or – if offered – “purchase on account” via PayPal the execution of a credit check. The result of the credit check on the statistical probability of default is used by PayPal for the purpose of deciding on the provision of the respective payment method. The credit information can contain probability values (so-called score values). Insofar as score values are included in the results of the credit rating, they are based on a scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical procedure.
